- Sagan & Greenfield:
Driving under the influence or DUI charge is a serious offense in every
state. A conviction on a
charge of driving under the influence
carries with it the rather unique manner of sentencing called a
mandatory minimum sentence. This means
that a conviction on this charge mandates the judge to
sentence the offender to at least
certain minimum sentences. The judge has no discretion to make an
exception and not
to impose at least the minimum mandatory sentences.

- Brian Lucianna:
There may be lesser charges to which a guilty plea may be entered or
where there is insufficient proof to convict you. A guilty plea to some
charges without the assistance of legal counsel could result in the
imposition of high insurance surcharges, significant monetary fines, a
driver's license suspension or even imprisonment.
Only an experienced and qualified legal professional with knowledge of the
current laws can help you understand your options and make an informed
choice as to how to proceed in Court.
- Thomas Gosse:
These cases often seem hopeless at first, but they aren't hopeless to an experienced criminal defense attorney.
